CREATURE FEATURE Molly McBartworth aka The Recycling Plant Banshee Dimension of Origin: 68-F Class: IV Audio-Sonic Vaporous Free Floating Apparition Power Level: 5 In the later part of the 19th century, many immigrant factory workers perished due to management negligence or worse. MOLLY, unfortunately, was not an exception. An early advocate for safer working conditions, MOLLY died under mysterious circumstances on the factory floor. Now, two centuries later, a recycling plant opens in the same building and a mysterious apparition appears wailing right before or perhaps causing major accidents. Luckily, THE REAL CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS were called to bust the BANSHEE. CREATURE FEATURE The Fortville IT aka Fortville Vathek, Robert Gray, Eater of Worlds, Child Eater, Spider Monster, Pennywise the Dancing Clown Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: VII Corporeal Killer Clown Creature Power Level: 7 (Full Power) This FORTVILLE IT is a type of VATHEK, a spectral form that can enter the realm of the living through the act of writing. IT has taken the form of the fictional shape-shifting creature known as “IT” aka PENNYWISE. The literary “IT” is a type of ancient entity that would awaken about every 27 years to feed on people's fear and due to the nature of a VATHEK, IT has become and always was “IT.” The FORTVILLE IT’s many powers are proportionality fueled by belief and fear, including: reality altering, superhuman agility, superhuman strength, superhuman stamina, superhuman durability, superhuman speed, size alteration, shape shifting, telepathy, invisibility, telekinesis, teleportation, and various other psychic powers. In September 2019, the creature tried to take over the town of Fortville, Indiana with a surge of red balloons tied to the sewer grates to lure in choice victims… children. The CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS were dispatched and baring Jacob Bartlett’s "ethical dilemma" of using the Junior Ghostbusters as bait to flush out the entity, they were able to surprise and barely able to capture a portion of the creature. CREATURE FEATURE Demogorgons Dimension of Origin: 11-L Class: V Psychic Psychomagnatheric Phantasms Power Levels: 3-5 Monstrous creatures that hail from a parallel dimension reminiscent to a dark reflection of our world, now known as the “UPSIDE DOWN.” Sometimes using a tear, they can travel to other dimensions and feed on inhabitants from there. After a gate was opened in Hawkins Lab some 40 years ago, DEMOGORGONS began crossing between the two dimensions and feeding on people until the dimension was ultimately sealed or possibly destroyed by the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS. The team first had to fight off a nest of the malevolent creatures as Nick “Coop” Cooper accidentally crushed an infant POLLYWOG, alerting a horde of monsters to the team's presence. Luckily, multiple high-powered proton blasts or boson darts temporarily neutronized the beasts, allowing the team to escape. CREATURE FEATURE Mind Flayer Dimension of Origin: 11-L Class: VII Psychic Shadow Entity Power Level: 8 This colossal shadow entity rules a supernatural dimension (11-L) sometimes referred to as the “UPSIDE DOWN.” It acts as the hive mind for its resident creatures. While in its dimension, the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS suffered from headaches, uneasiness, mild-incontinence, and dread. The team could feel an evil tugging at their minds while in its domain. Setting its sights on our Earth, the MIND FLAYER has orchestrated numerous schemes to open interdimensional tears across the town of Hawkins, Indiana, in order to invade our reality and feast on humanity. The creature was possibly destroyed or sealed permanently in its reality by a 40-megaton antimatter blast (EPISODE 2: Stranger Things in the Neighborhood). CREATURE FEATURE Possessed Nitro Dimensions of Origin: 68-F & UNKNOWN Class: V Wandering Wyvern Possessor Power Level: 5 A powerful POSSESSOR ghost took control of the Indy Fuel’s beloved mascot, NITRO, one night in 2021 during a game. Several hockey players removed their gloves and helmets and attempted to quell the rampaging, transmogrified NITRO in what they described as “a hell of a donnybrook” (whatever that means). Ultimately, the services of the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS were required. Unable to get close to the fire-breathing DRAGON and fearing shooting him with the particle throwers, we sent our ectoplasmologist in to exorcise the ghost. He performed a slap shot on a slime grenade into the goal, which the possessed NITRO was guarding at the time. The positively charged psychomagnetheric ectoplasm forced the POSSESSOR spirit out of NITRO’s body, returning him to normal. We were able to capture the ghost before it was able to inhabit the body of anyone else. CREATURE FEATURE Puddles the Demogorgon Dimension of Origin: 11-L Class: V Psychic Psychomagnatheric Phantasm Power Level: 4 PUDDLES self-regenerated in the lab from its severed hand (EPISODE 2: Stranger Things in the Neighborhood) thanks in no small part to experiments with psychomagnatheric mood slime and an argument between ectoplasmologist Jacob Bartlett and Nick “Coop” Cooper over a borrowed $20. Coop had, in fact, paid Jacob back, but Jacob’s memory had been wiped of the event. Now, PUDDLES is something of a “pet" that subsists on a diet of mostly junk food and the occasional ghost. This DEMOGORGON regeneration is smaller, heavier, more docile, and sedentary allowing the team to take it to major sporting events for charity (as long as the home team is winning and the crowd is positive). But don’t underestimate her, she can still rip your arms off and crush a human skull in her mouth. CREATURE FEATURE Bodyless Terror Dog aka Hellhound Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: VII Fully Corporeal Possessor Power Level: 6 TERROR DOGS are a vicious breed of demonic HELLHOUNDS not of this world. They are large and bulky monsters vaguely resembling actual dogs, having horns, glowing eyes, a degree of intelligence, superhuman strength, superhuman agility, and can possess human beings as vessels. The most infamous TERROR DOGS are the two loyal servants of GOZER known as ZUUL and VINZ CLORTHO. When searching for our original LARRY CRYE and/or Josta soda using our REMOTE PORTAL, we stumbled across a lone TERROR DOG. The creature tried to jump through the portal and luckily new Larry was able to turn it off, decapitating it. We mounted the head in the office. CREATURE FEATURE Bernie Duenorth aka The Dock Devil Dimension of Origin: 68-F Class: IV Vaporous Full Torso Apparition Power Level: 5 Sometimes you REALLY don’t want to leave your job. BERNIE was the best and continued to work well after he passed in 2022. The bread depot haunting wasn’t an issue until the total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, when ambient psycho-kinetic energy (PKE) levels increased in the Midwest causing BERNIE to become destructive. Luckily, the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS were called in to take care of this pretty pesky poltergeist. CREATURE FEATURE Slimer aka Onionhead, Spud, Green Ghost, Sedgewick Hotel Ghost, Pork Tenderloin, Pork Chop Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: V Full-Roaming Vapor Power Level: 3 An ectoplasmic manifestation of definite but non-human form hailing from some other universe, but crossing over into ours when Larry tried to use the REMOTE TRANSDIMENSIONAL PORTAL to get a bottle of Josta Cola from a dimension where it has not been discontinued. This “SLIMER” is definitely a version of our universe’s SEDGEWICK HOTEL GHOST that is residing at the New York City HQ. Although this variant is “intelligent” and can communicate, he mostly speaks in an incomprehensible gibberish and unfortunately, he cannot tell us where he is from. His time is usually spent eating anything he can get his hands on, while being a test subject for the team’s experiments, accompanying the team on busts, and accidentally (or intentionally) sliming people. CREATURE FEATURE Mini-Pufts Dimension of Origin: 68-F Class: V Possed Pufts, Gozerian Destructor Form Remnants Power Levels: 2-3 In 2021, during the second battle with GOZER by the original Ghostbusters, STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOWS in the area started to reconstitute into MINI-PUFTS (Similar to the 1991 battle with a STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN reconstitution and its MARSHMALLOW MINIS). These MINI-PUFTS are small humanoid marshmallow men that somewhat resemble the original STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN, except they the lack the sailor collar and tie. They may look cute but are quite destructive. MINI-PUFTS tend to not think before acting, and do not care about each other’s well-being. We don’t know if they are breeding but they are reproducing somehow. In 2024 a small shipment of possessed “pufts” made its way to Indianapolis where the CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS attempted to destroy the entire lot of corrupt confections. After experimenting on the survivors, they promptly escaped and commandeered the HQ’s Roomba. The MINI-PUFTS are currently at large. CREATURE FEATURE Genzon aka Genzon the Cruel Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: VII Black Dragon Power Level: 6 The young (in dragon terms) GENZON made his nest near the ever-murky White River. He was drawn to Gen Con 2024 to usurp its RED DRAGON guardian GENEVIEVE and to take con merch (mostly dice and collectors’ items) to hoard at his lair. The CIRCLE CITY GHOSTBUSTERS were called to deal with the issue and Sean McFadden was able to neutralize its acid/fire breath (and hateful demeanor) with positively charged psychomagnatheric ectoplasm while Erika Bartlett was able to hit its vulnerable underbelly with a proton beam at full dispersion mode at a wide angle, causing the creature to flee. BLACK DRAGONS are far and away the most vile tempered and cruel of all dragons. Most live in swamps, jungles, and fetid marshlands. Because of this they smelled like rotting vegetation and foul water. They are excellent swimmers and often make their lairs in submerged caves or underground chambers near swamps or murky ponds. BLACK DRAGONS can grow to be around 16 feet tall, 85 feet in length, with a wingspan of 80 feet. They weigh around 159,000 pounds. BLACK DRAGON powers include: super strength, razor sharp claws, acid breath, flight, communicate with lesser reptiles and can influence them to do their bidding, water breathing and can stagnate water, making it become still, foul, and unable to support life. GENZON can spit a stream of flammable acid which he can ignite to breathe fire as well. CREATURE FEATURE Jumanji Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: VII Trapped Transdimensional Trickster Power Level: 7 JUMANJI is a seemingly antique carved board game containing two dice and game pieces of a keratin rhinoceros, metallic elephant, obsidian crocodile, and a jade monkey. Once the player's piece lands on a square, JUMANJI's crystal ball forms a rhyming riddle to inform players what will be manifested into reality, whatever the text reads into the real world or the jungle world inside JUMANJI. The game’s crystal ball is a gateway to this alternate dimension which the game controls. The entities created by JUMANJI can only be stopped by finishing the game, hence why the instructions advise players to not begin unless they intend to finish. The only way to end the game is by reaching the game's crystal ball center, calling out the name of JUMANJI and the game will undo all the consequences and alternative timelines of the game. The old man who gave JUMANJI to us said he has tried to get rid of the cursed game by burying it, burning it, and sinking it. But it always managed to survive. So, he gave it to us at Gen Con 2024. Jacob Bartlett labeled it at HQ with a post it note, “For Jeremiah” as in Jeremiah Ashlock our cursed artifact curator. Sean McFadden thinking it was a present, opened JUMANJI and accidently rolling the dice, was teleported into the game. The Professor, Nic Farnsworth, realizing that it was Sean’s turn to load the dishwasher rescued him via REMOTE TRANSDIMENSIONAL PORTAL using the games’ P.K.E frequency. This angered JUMANJI and it again took Sean, and after repeated teleportation the team realized we had to finish the game. Jacob Bartlett, Cole Seger, Sean McFadden, and the Professor proceeded to play, test, and study the game. Cole Seger theorized the game feeds on the emotions of those playing it. It was determined JUMANJI has the abilities of invincibility, reality altering, portal creation, time manipulation, form manipulation, entity creation, and the occasional drumming that only children and players can hear. Sean McFadden’s P.K.E. METER scans inside and outside the game were invaluable research and we were able to determine that the game is a bound primal trickster god/demon. Sean luckily was able to win the game after being shot by Van Pelt. Our equipment had some interesting effects on the entities the game created. The game may have reset time to before we started playing, but the smell of burning monkey remains. When we weren’t looking, the game changed into a Sega Genesis cartridge, trying to entice us to play again. CREATURE FEATURE Peter Pumpkan Dimension of Origin: UNKNOWN Class: V Wrathful Will-O'-Wisp Wraith Power Level: 5 While making a scarecrow of founding Ghostbuster, Peter Venkman for a charity event in 2024. We were surprised when it lit on fire, bent over backwards and quickly started spider crawling toward us, as its jack o’lantern head spun around, screaming: “Destroy the Ghostbusters! The midnight army is close at hand. The door will be opened. All hail the lord of Halloween!” We thought that was pretty odd and Scotty shot it in the face. We were able to trap it with minimal fire damage to Cole’s property. WRAITHS are violent, evil spirits that hate all living things. They are the embodiment of concentrated fear.
